Tighten or replace the valve on your inflatable SUP board

Have you just received a SUP board where the valve is not 100% tight? This is actually very normal for new SUP's. The manufacturers who make these inflatable SUP boards do so on purpose not to tighten it too much. If you therefore receive a SUP that must have its valve tightened, then you can be absolutely sure that your SUP is brand new.

This is how you tighten the valve on your SUP board
All you need is the buckle that comes with the repair kit.
1. Push the tensioner into the valve so that it engages into the grid.
2. Turn the tensioner clockwise so that the valve is tightened (it is important that you still push).

How to replace the valve on your inflatable SUP
1. Push the tensioner into the valve so that it is engaged.
2. Turn the tensioner counterclockwise to loosen the valve (it is important that you still push).
3. When the valve is completely loose, carefully remove it.
4. Place the new valve in the hole and make sure it is straight.
5. Now start tightening the valve carefully and make sure that it is screwed straight on.
