How is Figure Skating different?
Figure skating is ice skating that is suitable for the sport of figure skating. They are typically in a nice and simple design compared to other types of ice skates. There is also less internal lining and protection, and usually must also be closed with laces rather than buckles.
Figure skates are often made of artificial leather or PVC materials. The reason for this is to achieve a strong but also light boot, which will benefit the sport, especially with various tricks. In addition, they typically have a steel blade with small notches at the toe. This is to provide a better opportunity to set off when jumping and take a better grip on the ground when changing direction.

Where do you use figure skating?
As mentioned, figure skates is mainly for figure skating. However, they can easily be used for relaxed skating on ordinary ice skating rinks. Within figure skating, there are three main disciplines, namely freestyle, pair skating and ice dancing.
