Complete Pro Scooters

One sees the scooter in the schoolyard and on each street corner. Demand has led to an explosion of new scooters and a wide range of spare parts. Also professional scooters made of heavier materials have found their place in the hearts of the youngsters. The full-bodied subculture has become a reality in the skater environment, and more and more demands are being made on the quality of the components.

A pro scooter differs from other regular scooters by having a stable platform, which it is not possible to collapse. Likewise, the bar of the scooter is not adjustable because it gives the scooter a weak point for hard landings, slides or bar spins. Pro scooters are made of steel and aluminum to keep the weight down and durability in the top.

A pro scooter consists of the following components: Deck, Wheel, Bearings, Brake, Compression System, Clamp, Head Set, Fork, Bar and Handle.

Manufacturers always try to achieve the highest strength and durability. Work is often done to make the tire and head tube stronger connected, the one-piece bar stronger, and the compression system smoothly running. At the same time, it is a challenge to keep the weight as low as possible, and some pro scooters are therefore better suited for respectively ramps, street or just a small jump on the road.

The sport "freestyle" scooter sets incredibly high demands on the scooter components. A high end scooter has, to be as strong as possible, onepiece deck, integrated headset in deck headtube, ABEC-9 ball bearings, one of the following compression systems HIC, IHC, SCS or ICS (read more about these in our scooter guide), onepiece fork and a strong 4130 CrMo bar.
